The Fall Race Series-ONE LAST RACE

  • To be eligible for series awards, participants must finish a minimum of 3 events.
  • Participants who compete in more than 3 events will use their top 3 scores for computing results.
  • Participants Age will be set as of Oct 1, 2006
  • Two age categories Under 40 and 40 an over Male and Female.
  • If any age group has more that 6 runners it will be spit into addition (10 year) age group.
  • Prizes to top three in each age group.

Scoring - The top 3 men's times and top 3 women's times will be used to create an average time into which all times will be divided.

All male and female participant's times will be divided into this average "base" time to create raw scores.

Example: The 3 fastest men's times are

    • 17:30 (1050 seconds)
    • 17:48 (1068 seconds)
    • 18:00 (1080 seconds)

The base time becomes 1066 seconds.

Each male finisher's time is divided into 1066 to create an individual raw score.

The first finisher (1050 seconds) receives a score of 1.0152 (1066/1050.)

The third place finisher (1080 seconds) receives as score of .9870 (1066/1080).

All race participants would receive a score based on his/her finish time divided into the base time. Participants will receive a score for each series event in which they participate. Only the top 3 scores will be applied toward the series championship. In the event of a tie, the participant with the highest cumulative point total from all series races participated (no limit) will be declared the champion. This is an incentive to participate in more than 3 races.
